Prep Enrolments

Prep places are applied for and offered in the year before your child starts school.

In Victoria, children need to be 5 years old by 30 April of their Prep year to begin school.

If you are unsure whether your child is ready for school, we encourage you to first chat with their kindergarten or preschool teacher. You are also welcome to contact us at St Paul’s. We are here to support you in making the best decision for your child.

If your child is younger than many of their peers and you’re still uncertain, please know that accepted places can be deferred until the following year.

As part of the process:

Families will be invited to attend an enrolment interview with the Principal.

Enrolment offers will be made from early June.

An Enrolment Acceptance Fee is payable once you accept a place.
